On Tuesday, September 4, the Holdrege High School Girls Golf went up against Minden and Cozad at a home triangular.

They placed second beating Minden with a total score of 220. Individual varsity scores were: Emily Gustafson- 47, Shelby Schmidt- 58, Keara Miller- 51, Amanda Taylor- 64, Tehya Cuypers- 70. The individual JV scores were: Morgan Fritsche- 67, Hope Anderson- 59, Jessica Swift- 71.

“I’ve learned it’s best to enjoy the game, and not let the bad shots get to you. It’s much easier to focus on the good shots and have fun when playing the game, and focus on what you’ve improved on, and what you’re doing correct,” said Hope Anderson.

The next girls golf meet is a varsity meet in Gothenburg on Thursday September 13, at the Wildhorse Golf Course.
