Kanon Kishi
Five thousand nine hundred and sixty three miles is a long distance. Especially for foreign exchange student and sophomore Kanon Kishi, from Isesaki, Japan.
¨Communication is hard for me,¨ stated Kanon about the difficulties she faces in America.
She has opportunities to work on communicating during her daily academic schedule and her activities in the fine arts. She is involved in band, choir, and art.
¨I really like band,¨ she said as she worked on music for the Homecoming field show performance.
Kanon is living with Kim and Jeremy Klein, where the family is helping her to overcome some of the difficulties she faces, as well as encouraging her involvement in school activities.
