”Excited and motivated” for this upcoming season, following in the big footsteps of two previous state championships, the boys’ cross country team is determined to continue it to a three-peat.

On September 1,  they went to the Cozad Invitational and had a successful first meet. Tyler Peterson took home the first place medal in Boys Varsity.  Caden Erickson, Grant Engel, and Jackson Hilyard with a similar pace placing seventeenth, eighteenth, and nineteenth respectively.

The next week,  the boys traveled to the Lincoln Pius X invite. Tyler Peterson again found success by placing fifth among talented Class A runners. Caden Erickson also jumped the ranks and finished ninth..

The next meet is at McCook on September 13.
