Duster Volleyball Splits Triangular Games

n September 27, Holdrege Volleyball team competed in their home triangular against Broken Bow and Ravenna.  

    In the first game the Dusters took a tough loss to Broken Bow 4-25; 16-25.

    “We constantly say the same things and we need to learn to get over that hump of getting down by 10 points and trying to fight back,” said Alexa Berney.

    In the consolation game, the Dusters gained an exciting win against Ravenna 25-15; 25-15.

    “We talked and got excited over every play. The Broken Bow game we got mad at ourselves over every little mistake, but against Ravenna we relaxed, and had fun while playing,” said Sierra Schemper.
