On September 22, Holdrege Volleyball team competed at their home volleyball invite and placed sixth.

In the first game, the Dusters were defeated by GICC 13-25; 17-25.

“We have the big things done but the little things we need to work on so we can win more. We played good together we just got to finish our game and not give up easily,” said Sierra Schemper

The next game,  the Dusters defeated Cozad pushing through the third set,  23-25; 25-17; 25-18.

“Playing Cozad gave us different opportunities to try new things and helped us work as a team,” said Taylor Wiser.

After the win against Cozad, the Dusters took a loss against rivalry team McCook 21-25; 20-25.

“In our McCook game, we could have played more aggressively and had better communication. We compete well with them but they are a beatable team. If we played our hardest then I definitely think we could have won,” said Brooklyn Berney.
