The Holdrege Dusters Boys’ Basketball team entered the season hopeful and eager to gain wins and experience, as the squad lost four starting seniors and their leading scorers to graduation. Coach Jon Karn entered his fourth season commanding the Duster team.

The team started the season against  the third ranked team in Class C-1, the Adam Central Patriots.

Both teams at the start struggled to have meaningful possessions and score points. Towards the end of the first quarter, the Patriots pulled away and wouldn’t look back the rest of the game. The boys had a hard time having shots fall and was suffocated by the Adams Central defense. When the buzzer sounded the score was 12-55 advantage Adams Central.

Leading scorers were Tate Florell and Jackson Hilyard with five points each.
