February 17 through February 24 was National FFA week. Holdrege High School FFA members celebrated National FFA week with many activities.

On Tuesday several FFA members headed to the elementary school to teach the 4th grade students lessons about agriculture. Wednesday was t-shirt day. The ag classes also received  a visit from Nebraska FFA Vice President Halie Andreasen. On Thursday FFA members wore their official dress and the officer team went over to the middle school to recruit the eighth graders. To round out the week members made teachers breakfast and delivered it to them on Friday morning.

“My favorite part of FFA week was Ag in a classroom because we got to teach the youth about agriculture,” said senior Drake Johnson.

National FFA week is celebrated all over the United States and is a fun event for FFA members.
