Despite a few tough losses, the Duster softball team continues to have a winning season in the wake of new coaching.

“I love our new coaches, they are lots of fun and really understand the game. They aren’t afraid to have fun and they know when to be serious,” said senior Justine Johnson.

Mark Freburg – Head Coach and Brad Larson – Assistant Coach,  have taken on the coaching duties for the 2017 season. The new coaches have coached the team to a current record of 14-6 and are led by eleven experienced seniors.

“We’ve come a long ways from the start and I’m proud of how far we’ve come and where we’re going to end up this season. I couldn’t be happier to end my softball career with this group of girls,” stated catcher Sydney Breinig.
