    Serving the Ag community of Holdrege, the Holdrege High School FFA Program put on their annual Farm Safety Camp on September 20, 2017.

    “At Farm Safety we did teaching stations for: chemical safety; tractor and PTO safety; combine safety, and large animal safety. We also did a grain handling safety,” stated FFA President Malina Lindstrom.

    The FFA students’ worked two shifts at the Ag Center, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

    “The best part about Farm Safety Camp was teaching the little kids about the different things that are happening in agriculture today, and how to stay safe on the farm. It is very important in today’s society to advocate for our industry,” said Malina Lindstrom.
